Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for an Maintenance Technician opening to join our Greenville/KitchenAid division.

Day to Day (what a typical day or week looks like in this role)

Maintain and repair production machinery; keep records including basic computer database entries; use various welding processes, including basic electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic repairs; some experience with welding.

What You Will Do

  • Use precision measurement instruments, including micrometers. Disassemble, inspect, and perform necessary repairs while communicating with other departments.

  • Be familiar with hydraulics, pneumatic applications and repairs. Use shop and hand tools to effect repairs on equipment while supporting a World class manufacturing operation.

  • Working knowledge of AC electric motors. Position requires inspection and teardown experience.

  • Physical inspection and bearing replacement, as well as shaft and other mechanical inspection.

  • Gearbox experience and working knowledge of gear assemblies' installation, seal replacement, drive inspections and gearbox identification.

  • Use shop mathematics and read highly complicated drawings and specifications; gather, assemble, and record information, use a wide variety of measuring instruments, broad use of specialized training.

  • CNC machine repair and controls experience with Fanuc and Yaskawa preferred

What You Need To Succeed

  • Successfully completed Apprenticeship program or have a State Journeyman s card or may consider candidates with at least 5 years related industrial maintenance experience

  • Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd Shift

  • Knowledge of multi-voltage requirements for motor applications

  • Good mechanical inspection experience ie. Keyways, bearing fits, shaft diameter measurements, shaft run out inspections and alignment experience.

  • Bearing identification, with knowledge of installation procedures for different types and applications.

  • You must be equipped with your own hand tools

  • Routine overtime can be expected

  • Computer experience with Microsoft applications, Maximo CMMS

  • Requires the ability to plan and perform unusual and difficult work, where only general methods are available, and the making of decisions involving the use of considerable judgment and initiative.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
