Financial Analyst II


Accounting for assigned activities of two plants. Candidate will be located in the Greenville, OH plant and will to travel to Spartanburg, SC plant as needed. Travel is expected to be no more than 2 overnight trips per month. Role reports to Controller, North America Plants.

  • Create and enter Journal Entries
  • Prepare Account Reconciliations
  • Submit Annual Manufacturing Surveys
  • Preparation of Scrap and Scrap Sales Reports
  • Analytical Support for Outsourcing/In-house initiatives
  • Support for development of AOP
  • Tracking of Fixed Assets/Capital Spending/Construction in Process
  • Support of Month-end Close and Reporting
  • Analysis of Plant Performance and Expense Analysis
  • Assist in preparation of Monthly Forecast
  • Assist with Yearly External Audit Process
  • Assist in controlling Fixed Assets and participate in Fixed Asset Audit
  • Validate project savings initiatives and track implementation
  • Audit Physical Inventories
  • Support data gathering for maintaining standard cost system
  • Assist in inventory control and the cycle count program
  • Support reconciliation of crib inventory - issues and receipts
  • Work on Special Projects as requested and support operations in driving continuous improvement initiatives

REQUIREMENTS (Education/Experience/Certifications/Skills)

Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
3 - 5 years of plant accounting experience
Expert level Microsoft Excel (Advanced level)
Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint
Strong system knowledge and experience, particularly HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) and SAP desired
Proactive, results oriented and great attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects, competing demands and shifting priorities while maintaining adherence to deliverable deadlines.
Ability to work both independently and in cooperation with others in a team environment
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
